Jobs and the Will to Work
Employers often report, the lack of will to work, as a common trait displayed by new and sometimes existing employees. In their attempts to maintain the profitably of their respective business, steps are then taken to employ other reliable employees. Will to Work, can be negatively affected by a number of social and economic factors which exist in our community. Understanding these factors, which are personal and academic in nature, will assist in providing solutions to this serious issue.
Some Job Seekers have reported numerous job application submissions which have been unanswered thus resulting in demotivation and lack of will-power. In addition some existing employees have noted the absence of employment development within their respective organizations which also results in demotivation.
As we seek to encourage the creation of employment opportunities by business owners we must be mindful of the challenges they face in this economy and should encourage solutions that seek to address both stakeholders, Employer and Employee.
Solution 3
Job Seekers and Employees are encouraged to be patient and persistent. Your will to work should remain with you for life as your employer will always seek value for money, in other words, Pay for Performance.
Employers are encouraged to exercise tolerance and an understanding of the causes of this behavior which is related to many unknown and private issues.
There are Leaders and Followers. As Leaders we must remember that the Followers must be shown the goal from time to time.
